New Grafton clinic now open and ready to see you
The new Columbia St. Mary’s Medical Center officially opened to the public on Monday, January 10th. This 14,500 square-foot medical clinic will strengthen CSM’s long-term relationship with the Grafton community by providing additional healthcare services patients want, at a location that is convenient and cost-effective.
“We’re very excited to be in our new home. Having digital x-ray, an on-site lab, rotating specialists, and an urgent care center will make it easier for our patients to get quality care in Grafton,” says Dr. Mark Shewczyk, Family Medicine physician on staff at Columbia St. Mary’s since 1986.
The clinic, with regular hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, provides a variety of medical services, including:
Health screenings and other preventive care are now more accessible to Grafton-area patients. The clinic will be equipped to perform colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopies; both procedures are key screenings for the early detection of colorectal cancer and digestive disorders.
Physicians and providers from Columbia St. Mary’s Bariatric Center will provide high quality, comprehensive care for the treatment of obesity at the Grafton Clinic’s Bariatric Center.
The clinic also boasts a Community Room with a Smart Board, an interactive white board that displays presentations and notes with the touch of a finger or pen. Community members can use the room for meetings or classes. The clinic hosts educational classes on Bariatric Services and the Women’s Heart Secrets program. For information on using the Community Room, please contact Cheryl Mauer at 262-243-4925.
