Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Milwaukee has:

  • 140,000,000 pounds of concrete
  • 7,000,000 pounds of structural steel
  • 1,600,000 pounds of sheet metal – equivalent to what is used in building 2,666 Harley Davidson motorcycles
  • 600 miles of electrical wire – enough to reach from Milwaukee to Nashville
  • 126 miles of reinforced steel in concrete
  • 47 miles of plumbing pipe
  • 30 miles of sprinkler piping
  • 24 miles of heating and cooling pipe
  • 20,500 cubic yards of concrete – equivalent to 15.5 miles of sidewalk
  • The length of the hospital is equal to approximately one football field

Dinner 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (weekends 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.)

Women’s Hospital
The new Women’s Hospital includes 35 Mom/Baby Rooms; nine Labor, Delivery and Recovery Rooms; Operating and Recovery Rooms; an 18-bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); a nine-bed Pediatric Unit; and Pediatric Rehabilitation.

The Women’s Hospital is also home to the Van Dyke Haebler Center for Women’s Imaging; the Diabetes Treatment Center and outpatient clinics for Behavioral Medicine Services; and Sacred Heart's Brain Injury Day Treatment Program.
