Countdown to Hospital of the Future

In this Section

The new Columbia St. Mary's Hospital Milwaukee is nestled into the Lake Drive skyline as seen from the neighboring Water Tower Park.

There are twelve specially-designed surgical suites in the new hospital, with space available to build out four more in the future. Both the doors and the sanitizing station (on the right) offers a view into the room.

The design of the new operating rooms provide the space needed to create fully digital operating suites which help physicians perform patient procedures more efficiently and effectively.

The nursing station is centrally located on each unit to serve all patients. Work space is also available for staff on countertops built between patient rooms.
